An 16ú plean teanga ceadaithe ag Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá an 16ú plean teanga ceadaithe ag Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta Seán Kyne agus €100,000 ceadaithe aige do Thuaisceart Dhún na nGall faoin bpróiseas pleanála teanga.

Faoi Acht na Gaeltachta 2012, tá plean teanga le hullmhú i 26 limistéar pleanála teanga sa Ghaeltacht.

Tá oifigigh pleanála teanga fostaithe i naoi gceantar chun feidhm a thabhairt do na pleananna.

Dúirt an tAire Kyne go raibh “dul chun cinn suntasach déanta faoin bpróiseas” ó cuireadh tús leis cúig bliana ó shin agus go raibh sé féin agus a chuid oifigeach ag súil le bheith “ag oibriú as láimh a chéile” le lucht pleanála teanga i dtuaisceart Dhún na nGall.

“Le ceapadh oifigeach pleanála teanga agus feidhmiú pleananna idir lámha anois is ea is mó atá pobail éagsúla na Gaeltachta agus an pobal trí chéile [in ann] a fheiceáil go bhfuil deis á tabhairt [dóibh] a bheith níos lárnaí ná riamh i múnlú thodhchaí na Gaeilge agus na Gaeltachta,” a dúirt an tAire Stáit Kyne.

Is iad na ceantair ina bhfuil plean teanga ceadaithe go n-uige seo: Cois Fharraige; Gaoth Dobhair, Rann na Feirste, Anagaire agus  Loch an Iúir; Cloch Chionnaola, Gort an Choirce, An Fál Carrach agus Machaire Rabhartaigh; na Déise; Múscraí; Ciarraí Theas; Dúiche Sheoigheach agus Tuar Mhic Éadaigh; Ciarraí Thiar; Maigh Eo Thuaidh; Árainn Mhór; An Cheathrú Rua; Conamara Láir; Ráth Chairn agus Baile Ghib; Dún na nGall Theas agus Ceantar na nOileáin.

Tá súil ag Roinn na Gaeltachta go mbeidh suas le seacht bplean eile ceadaithe faoi dheireadh na bliana seo.

Naonúr oifigeach pleanála teanga agus beirt oifigeach cúnta pleanála teanga atá fostaithe go dtí seo.

Bhí deichniúr fostaithe ach d’fhág an té a ceapadh i gceantar Dhúiche Sheoigheach a post.
