  • Vóta mímhuiníne agus toghchán a bheidh ann, a deir feisire parlaiminte de bhunadh na Gaeltachta
<a-href="https://tuairisc.ie"-class="credit-tuairisc"-target="-blank"-rel="noopener-noreferrer"></a>-vota-mimhuinine-agus-toghchan-a-bheidh-ann,-a-deir-feisire-parlaiminte-de-bhunadh-na-gaeltachta

Vóta mímhuiníne agus toghchán a bheidh ann, a deir feisire parlaiminte de bhunadh na Gaeltachta

Tá ráite ag Pat McFadden, an ball de pharlaimint Westminster ar de bhunadh Ghaeltacht Thír Chonaill é, gur dóichí go gcuirfear síos vóta mímhuiníne i rialtas Boris Johnson an tseachtain seo chugainn agus go mbeidh olltoghchán ann laistigh “de chúpla mí”.

Bhí an Feisire do Wolverhampton Thoir Theas, a bhfuil aithne mhaith air i gceantar an Fháil Charraigh i nGaeltacht Thír Chonaill, i measc na bhfeisirí is láidre a cháin cinneadh Boris Johnson an pharlaimint a chur ar fionraí ar feadh cúig seachtaine.

“Deir an Rialtas mar

chosaint air seo, gur rud normálta atá ann. Ní hea ach a mhalairt. Is fíor go stopann an pharlaimint ag teacht le chéile roinnt laethanta roimh sheisiún nua ach tá sé seo á dhéanamh d’aon ghnó chun stop a chur leis an bparlaimint a cuid oibre a dhéanamh,” a dúirt McFadden.

Dúirt McFadden gur cuma cad a déarfadh Boris Johnson nach gcreidfeadh aon duine é nach raibh an pharlaimint á cur ar fionraí aige mar gheall ar an mBreatimeacht.

“Agus an 31 Deireadh Fómhair ag teannadh linn Is ríshoiléir go bhfuil sé á dhéanamh seo le stop a chur leis an bparlaimint a cuid oibre a dhéanamh agus le go mbeidh sé in ann an Breatimeacht a chur i gcrích gan aon scrúdú air sa pharlaimint.”

Bhí Pat McFadden ina Scáth-Aire na hEorpa nó gur chuir Jeremy Corbyn an ruaig air ó bhinse tosaigh an pháirtí in 2016.

Cainteoirí dúchais Gaeilge, arbh as an Dún Mhór iad beirt, ab ea tuismitheoirí McFadden. D’fhreastail Jimmy Den Rua Mac Pháidin (nach maireann) agus a bhean chéile Annie sna 1930idí agus 1940idí ar Scoil Náisiúnta Mhín Doire, scoil bheag Ghaeltachta atá dúnta anois.

Thugadar beirt aghaidh ina dhiaidh sin ar Ghlaschú na hAlban, áit ar rugadh agus a tógadh Pat McFadden.

Chaith McFadden cuid mhaith dá óige i nGaeltacht Thír Chonaill agus tugann sé cuairteanna rialta ar an bhfód dúchais. Is i reilig an Fháil Charraigh atá athair an Fheisire do Wolverhampton Thoir Theas curtha.

Sa bhliain 2011, craoladh clár faisnéise ar TG4 faoi shaol agus faoi shaothar McFadden, The Right Honourable Pat Jimmy Den Rua MP.
