Fadscannáin Ghaeilge do Chorca Dhuibhne agus Corr na Móna agus Cine4 faoi lán seoil

Fanacht agus Tarrac an chéad dá fhadscannán Gaeilge eile a bheas á léiriú faoin scéim Cine4, agus tacaíocht an BAI fógartha don dá thogra le déanaí.

Cuirfear buiséad €1.2 milliún ar fáil do na comhlachtaí Icebox Films agus Inscéal chun an dá scannán a léiriú ar an bhliain seo chugainn.

Faoin scéim Cine4, atá á maoiniú ag TG4, an BAI agus Fís Éireann, roghnaítear dhá fhadscannán Gaeilge gach bliain do mhaoiniú €1.2 milliún.

Dhá scannán Gaeilge Finky agus Arracht atá léirithe faoin scéim Cine4, scéim a bunaíodh in 2017, agus tá ceithre scannán eile i mbun léirithe; Foscadh, Mo Ghrá Buan, Fanacht agus Tarrac.

I nGaeltacht Chorca Dhuibhne a bheas Tarrac, léiriú de chuid Icebox Films, á thaifeadadh an t-earrach seo chugainn agus tá láithreacha scannánaíochta éagsúla sa Ghaeltacht agus lasmuigh di á meas faoi láthair ag an chomhlacht léiriúcháin Inscéal don scannán Fanacht.

Is scéal é Tarrac faoi bhean óg arb éigean di an chathair a fhágáil toisc a hathair a bheith tinn. Is go drogallach a fhilleann sí ar an Ghaeltacht agus féachfar sa scannán faoi mar a théann sí i dtaithí ar a saol úr.

Beidh Fanacht faoi stiúir Choilm Bairéad, a stiúir an fadscannán faisnéise Murdair Mhám Trasna a craoladh ar TG4 anuraidh.

Ag labhairt dó le Tuairisc.ie, dúirt Bairéad gur “scéal teacht in aois” é Fanacht, cóiriú ar an novella Foster a scríobh an t-údar Éireannach Clare Keegan.

Scéal is ea é faoi chailín óg a fhágann a baile, áit a bhfuil chuid mhór deacrachtaí ann, chun cónaí le gaolta a máthar i gceantar iargúlta.

Díríonn an scéal go mór ar an gcaidreamh a fhásann idir cailín óg agus gaolta a máthar, atá ina dtuismitheoirí altrama aici,” a dúirt an stiúrthóir Colm Bairéad.

Idir an dá linn, beidh Foscadh, fadscannán de chuid Macalla Teo a maoiníodh faoin dara babhta de scéim Cine4, ag tosú i mbun scannánaíochta i gCorr na Móna i nGaeltacht Chonamara ar an tseachtain seo chugainn.

Idir chriú agus aisteoirí, beidh breis agus 50 duine i gCorr na Móna don chúig seachtaine scannánaíochta. Meastar gurb é seo an chéad uair a dhéanfar fadscannáin den chineál seo i gceantar Chorr na Móna.

Is iad Dónal Ó Héalaí, Cillian Ó Gairbhí agus Fionnuala Ní Fhlatharta atá sna príomhpháirteanna sa scannán Foscadh, leagan d’úrscéal le Dónal Ryan a bheidh á stiúradh ag Seán Breathnach.

Dúirt Seán Breathnach le Tuairisc.ie gur scéal é Foscadh “atá lonnaithe go smior i gConamara ach a bhaineann le pobail tuaithe ar fud an domhain”.

Taifeadadh Mo Ghrá Buan, léiriú de chuid Macalla Teo a fuair maoiniú sa dara babhta de scéim Cine4, i nGaeltacht Phort Láirge i rith an tsamhraidh.

Rachael Moriarty agus Peter Murphy a scríobh Mo Ghrá Buan do Macalla Teo, comhlacht ar éirigh leis maoiniú a fháil cheana d’fhadscannán Gaeilge eile, Arracht.

Seolfar Arracht sa bhliain úr.

Seoladh an chéad fhadscannán Gaeilge Finky a rinneadh faoi Cine 4, léiriú de chuid an chomhlachta Gaeltachta Abú Media, an samhradh seo agus beidh sé le feiceáil sna pictiúrlanna go luath.

Fógraíodh le déanaí chomh maith na ceithre thogra a chuirfear maoiniú forbartha €25,000 ar fáil dóibh faoin cheathrú bhabhta de Cine4.

Mná a bhí á lorg mar stiúrthóir don bhabhta sin agus ceithre thogra a roghnaíodh: Daniella (Magamedia), An Fhidil Ghorm (Abú Media), Fréamhacha (Doubleband Productions) agus Fortún (Macalla Teo). Tabharfar airgead forbartha don cheithre thogra sin agus roghnófar dhá cheann acu le cur ar aghaidh i gcomhar maoiniú iomlán.
