Ó tugadh na srianta diana le dul i ngleic le scaipeadh an víris chorónaigh isteach i lár mhí an Mhárta, tá an Conradh ag cabhrú le grúpaí daoine ar fud an domhain ciorcail dhigiteacha chomhrá a eagrú le go mbeidh siad in ann leanacht ar aghaidh ag labhairt na Gaeilge.

Ní féidir le grúpaí daoine teacht le chéile mar gheall ar na srianta in aghaidh an víris, rud a fhágann gur beag deis a bhíonn ag daoine nach bhfuil ina gcónaí le cainteoirí eile Gaeilge an teanga a labhairt agus iad ar coraintín.

Dúirt Seán Ó Murchadha, Feidhmeannach Ilmheán an Chonartha go bhfuil an saol ar líne “an-tábhachtach” i láthair na huaire agus go léirítear trí na ciorcail chomhrá “cé chomh láidir is atá pobal na Gaeilge ar líne”.

“Anois, níos mó ná riamh, agus daoine ar fud an domhain ag cleachtadh scaradh sóisialta, tá an domhan fíorúil an-tábhachtach do dhaoine chun iad a nascadh lena chéile. Taispeánann na ciorcail don domhan cé chomh láidir is atá pobal na Gaeilge ar líne. Mholfainn do ghrúpa ar bith triail a bhaint as agus a gcuid Gaeilge a úsáid,” a dúirt sé.

Tá liosta de na ciorcail atá ar siúl faoi láthair ar fáil ar shuíomh an Chonartha anois.
