TG4 agus an BBC ag lorg scríbhneoirí do ‘Derry Girls’ na Gaeilge

Tá TG4 agus an BBC ag iarraidh teacht ar scríbhneoir a chumfadh Derry Girls The Young Offenders na Gaeilge.

Tá scéim nua bunaithe ag an gCiste Craoltóireachta Gaeilge, TG4 agus BBC Gaeilge chun spreagadh a thabhairt do scríbhneoirí Gaeilge sraith drámaíochta éadrom chomhaimseartha a scríobh.

Táthar ag lorg iarratas ar an scéim ó chomhlachtaí léiriúcháin a bhfuil suim acu sraith drámaíochta nua a fhorbairt agus “tallann úr” a chothú.

Tá sé i gceist oiliúint a chur ar 4-6 scríbhneoirí Gaeilge nach bhfuil taithí acu a bheith ag scríobh don scáileán.

Deirtear go bhfuil iarratas á lorg ó chomhlachtaí a bhfuil smaoineamh acu do shraith drámaíochta éadrom “a bheadh tarraingteach do lucht féachana… macasamhail Derry Girls, Fleabag, Catastrophe, The Young Offenders agus This Way Up.”

Deirtear nár mhór d’iarratasóirí “cur síos mion” a dhéanamh ar conas a chuirfear dóthain oiliúna ar na scríbhneoirí le go mbeidh siad ábalta dréachtscript a scríobh do chlár amháin ar a laghad den tsraith drámaíochta atá á moladh.

“An oiread agus is féidir ba chóir go mbeadh an oiliúint agus an fhorbairt seo ag tarlú trí mheán na Gaeilge,” a deirtear.

An 10 Iúil an sprioc d’iarratais agus fógrófar torthaí an chomórtais ag deireadh mhí Iúil.
