Tá fógartha ag an Roinn Sláinte go bhfuil triúr eile a raibh Covid-19 orthu básaithe agus 13 cás nua den ghalar deimhnithe.

Fágann sin gur níos lú ná 30 cás nua a fógraíodh gach lá le seachtain anuas. 

2,244 duine ar a laghad atá básaithe in Éirinn ó thús na paindéime, 1,705 duine ó dheas den teorainn agus 539 ó thuaidh di.

Duine amháin ó dheas ar tugadh an Covid-19 mar shiocair bháis dó roimhe seo, tá sé deimhnithe anois nárbh amhlaidh an scéal.

Tá 83 duine a bhfuil Covid-19 sna hospidéil faoi láthair agus 28 díobh sin atá sna haonaid dianchúraim. 

D’fhógair Roinn Sláinte an Tuaiscirt níos luaithe inniu go bhfuil duine amháin eile a raibh Covid-19 air básaithe. 16 cás nua a deimhníodh ó thuaidh.

30,088 cás den ghalar Covid-19 atá deimhnithe go dtí seo in Éirinn, 25,250 cás ó dheas den teorainn agus 4,838 cás ó thuaidh.

De réir an eolais is déanaí ón Roinn Sláinte, a bhain leis an 25,237 cás a bhí deimhnithe faoi mheán oíche Dé  Céadaoin an 10 Meitheamh:

  • Fir a bhí i gceist le 43% de na cásanna agus mná iad 57%
  • An aois airmheáin a bhí ann i measc na n-othar ná 48 bliain d’aois
  • Cuireadh cúram san ospidéal ar 3,275 duine, 13%
  • As na daoine sin, cuireadh 415 duine in ICU, nó Aonad Dianchúraim.

  • Scaipeadh sa phobal ba chúis le 38% de chásanna, gartheagmháil le hothar eile ba chúis le 60% agus taisteal thar lear ba chúis le 2%

Tá líon na ndaoine a raibh Covid-19 orthu a fuair bás sa Tuaisceart os cionn 30% níos airde ná mar a thugtar le fios i bhfigiúirí laethúla na Roinne Sláinte.

De réir an eolais is déanaí ó Ghníomhaireacht Thuaisceart Éireann um Staidreamh agus um Thaighde (NISRA), faoi Dé hAoine seo caite, an 5 Meitheamh, bhí 779 duine básaithe de bharr Covid-19.
