Bás ar bith eile de dheasca Covid-19 le fógairt, 17 cás deimhnithe

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Ní raibh bás ar bith de dheasca Covid-19 le fógairt ag an Roinn Sláinte inniu agus 17 cás nua den ghalar a fógraíodh.

2,300 duine ar a laghad atá básaithe in Éirinn ó thús na paindéime, 1,746 duine ó dheas den teorainn agus 554 ó thuaidh di.

31,400 cás den ghalar Covid-19 atá deimhnithe go dtí seo in Éirinn, 25,628 cás ó dheas den teorainn agus 5,772 cás ó thuaidh di.

25 cás nua den ghalar a fógraíodh inné.

Thug an Príomh-Oifigeach Leighis gníomhach, an Dr Ronan Glynn, rabhadh do dhaoine tráthnóna go raibh an víreas fós á scaipeadh agus go raibh contúirt ag baint leis i gcónaí.

“Tá an víreas fós amuigh sin. Tá sé fós ar dhaoine. Níl uaidh ach an seans is lú a fháil chun go mbeadh sé ina fhadhb mhór arís.

“Leanaigí oraibh ag tabhairt aire daoibh féin agus dá chéile – bígí ar an airdeall maidir leis na siomptóim, nígí bhur lámha agus caithigí clúdach aghaidhe nuair is cuí sin. Má tá tú buartha go bhfuil na siomptóim ort ná bíodh aon mhoill ort – déan tú féin a leithlisiú agus cuir fios ar an ndochtúir láithreach.”
