Lá Domhanda na Seacláide

Bhí an domhan mór ag ceiliúradh lá náisiúnta na seacláide innú – Meon Eile ina measc. Thug muid cuairt ar Co Couture, siopa seacláide i mBéal Feirste, agus labhair muid le Deirdre McCanny. Is seacláideoir í Deirdre a bhunaigh an siopa in 2008 le linn na géarchéime airgeadais. Cé go raibh achan duine ag rá gur drochsmaoineamh a bhí ann, lean sí leis agus tá Co Couture ag dul ó neart go neart ó shin.

Labhair sí faoin tábhacht a bhaineann leis an tseacláid agus cé chomh sláintiúil is féidir léi a bheith – cé go scaiptear eolas míchruinn faoin tseacláid chéanna. An chuid is mó den tseacláid a fhaigheann muid ó na siopaí milseáin, bíonn sí lán le siúcra, ach déanann Deirdre iarracht seacláid ghlan a dhíol, seacláid atá lán le maignéisiam agus séireatoinin – dhá mhianra a chuidíonn go mór leis an chorp agus an inchinn.

Is ar bhealach eiticiúil a dhéantar táirgí Co Couture – is ón Mhadagascar a fhaigheann siad a gcuid seacláide ionas gur féidir leo an tseacláid is fearr ar domhan a fháil agus, dá réir sin, bíonn siad ag caitheamh a gcuid airgid i dtír atá lán le bochtaineacht.

Labhair muid le beirt andúileach seacláide a thug a gcuid tuairimí féin dúinn faoin lá speisialta seo.

Fuair muid deis cuid den tseacláid the a bhlaiseadh agus bhí sí go hálainn. Má tá tú ag iarraidh cuairt a thabhairt ar an siopa beag iontach seo tá na sonraí le fáil anseo. Mholfainn go mór daoibh triail a bhaint as an tseacláid bhlasta shláintiúil seo!
