Bille na dTeangacha Oifigiúla á phlé ag Céim an Choiste i dTithe an Oireachtais

Tá Bille na dTeangacha Oifigiúla á phlé ag Céim an Choiste i dTithe an Oireachtais faoi láthair.

308 leasú a bhí molta ag Teachtaí Dála ar an bhille a dhéanfaidh leasú ar an Acht Teanga oifigiúil, ach tá breis is 90 de na leasuithe sin díchéadaithe cheana féin, a bhformhór mar gheall go gcuirfidís costas breise ar an Stát.

Ina measc an 90 leasú sin, leasú ar mhaithe le ceangal a chur ar eagraíochtaí stáit méid áirithe fógraíochta a dhéanamh i nGaeilge, tá sin curtha as an áireamh.

Ná níor glacadh leis an leasú inar moladh go mbeadh seirbhísí uile an Stáit ar fáil i nGaeilge sa Ghaeltacht faoin bhliain 2025 ach an oiread.
