duine-amhain-ceaptha-i-bpost-gaeilge-as-248-comortas-sa-statseirbhis

Duine amháin ceaptha i bpost Gaeilge as 248 comórtas sa státseirbhís

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Duine amháin a ceapadh i bpost a raibh riachtanas Gaeilge ag baint Ieis sa 248 comórtas inmheánach nó idir-rannach a eagraíodh sa státseirbhís le linn na paindéime.

2,221 ceapachán a rinneadh mar thoradh ar na comórtais sin, seacht gcomórtas idir-rannach agus 241 comórtas inmheánach.

De réir figiúirí nua a chuir an Roinn Caiteachais Phoiblí ar fáil ceapadh 14 duine eile i bpoist Ghaeilge le linn na paindéime ó phainéil a cruthaíodh i ndiaidh comórtas eile roimhe sin.

37 duine den 2,221 duine a ceapadh a thug le fios go raibh Gaeilge acu cé nach i gcomórtais a raibh riachtanas Gaeilge ag baint leo a bhí siad.

Reáchtáil an tSeirbhís um Cheapacháin Phoiblí sé chomórtas a raibh riachtanas Gaeilge ag baint leo le linn na paindéime.

Dúirt an t-iar-aire Gaeltachta Éamon Ó Cuív an tseachtain seo caite gur léirigh meon na Roinne Caiteachais Poiblí an “obair ollmhór” a bheidh le déanamh nuair a achtófar an bille teanga chun na sean-nósanna sa státseirbhís a athrú agus an sprioc 20% a bhaint amach.

Bhí Ó Cuív ag tagairt d’fhreagra a fuair sé ar cheist Dála faoi earcú Gaeilgeoirí chun na státseirbhíse. Thug an Roinn Caiteachais Phoiblí go mbeadh an méid a dhéanfadh an Roinn Caiteachais Phoiblí i dtaobh earcú Gaeilgeoirí ag brath cuid mhór ar an bplean earcaíochta atá le hullmhú ag coiste comhairleach atá le bunú faoin mbille teanga nua, reachtaíocht nach bhfuil achtaithe fós.

Dúirt Ó Cuív gur léir go raibh coiste Gaeilge nach bhfuil fiú bunaithe go fóill á úsáid mar leithscéal cheana féin ag ranna stáit gan a ndualgais teanga a chomhlíonadh.
