Forbairt Feirste le fáilte a chur roimh lucht peile na Gaeltachta i Lúnasa

| NÓS Suíomh Gréasáin | ,

Beidh Comórtas Peile Sacair na Gaeltachta á reáchtáil ag Forbairt Feirste ag deireadh Lúnasa. Seo an chéad uair a eagrófar comórtas peile Gaeltachta sa Cheathrú Gaeltachta i mBéal Feirste. Tairgfear deis d’ocht bhfoireann dul in iomaíocht ar pháirc Spórtlann na hÉireann, an t-ionad spóirt a d’oscail Coláiste Feirste in 2018.

Dúirt stiúrthóir Forbairt Feirste, Jake Mac Siacais, gur Laochra Loch Lao agus a n-iarracht i gComórtas Peile na Gaeltachta a spreag an cinneadh comórtas peile Gaeltachta a chur ar siúl i Spórtlann na hÉireann, baile an chlub.

“Leis an spreagadh a fuarthas ón rath ar ról Laochra Loch Lao i gComórtas Peile na Gaeltachta, ó chéadthug Jake Mac Siacais go Corcaigh iad in 2006, beidh Forbairt Feirste ag reáchtáil an chéad chomórtas Gaeltachta riamh i Spórtlann na hÉireann sa Cheathrú Ghaeltachta i mBéal Feirste. Cuireann muid fáilte roimh fhoirne de sheachtar thar 16 idir mhná agus fir páirt a ghlacadh ann!”

Tá suim léirithe ag foirne as beagnach gach cúige sa tír go dtí seo, ach dúirt Jake go bhfuil sé ag iarraidh go mbeidh deis ag an mhéid is mó foirne agus ceantair páirt a ghlacadh. Ní hamháin gur deis iontach teach le chéile é an comórtas, ní féidir tarraingteacht na nduaiseanna a shéanadh ach oiread. Trófaí agus £1000 a bhainfidh an fhoireann bhuacach.

“Tá léiriú suime againn cheana as Gaeltacht Thír Chónaill, Conamara agus an Rinn i bPort Láirge. Ba mhaith linn an t-eispéireas speisialta seo a roinnt leis an mhéid is mó ceantair Ghaeltachta agus is féidir. An chéad bhliain seo beidh muid ag toiseacht le comórtas beag d’ocht bhfoireann chun féidearthacht iomlán reáchtáil an chomórtais a thástáil. Beidh an iontráil saor in aisce agus beidh áiseanna imeartha den chéad scoth ann.

“Gheobhaidh na buaiteoirí trófaí agus duais £1000. Beidh muid ag eagrú deireadh seachtaine de ghníomhaíochtaí sóisialta i gcomhar le heagraíochtaí eile sa Cheathrú Ghaeltachta. Ná caill iad!”

As siocair gur chéad bhliain an chomórtais í, beidh Forbairt Feirste ag lorg aiseolas ar bhuanna a gcuid eagrúcháin chomh maith le nithe le feabhsú sa todhchaí.

“Beidh intinní oscailte againn ar an dóigh is fearr lena fheabhas a bhaint as do rannpháirteachas agus cuirfidh muid fáilte roimh d’aiseolas agus do chuid smaointe. Sa chéad dul síos, cuir in iúl dúinn go mbeidh tú linn nuair a shéidfear an chéad fheadóg. Tá mé ag súil le bheith ag cluinstin uait ag jake@forbairtfeirste.com.”

Is ábhar ceiliúrtha é an Comórtas Peile Sacair na Gaeltachta do Ghaeilgeoirí Bhéal Feirste  chóir a bheith bliain i ndiaidh d’imní an pobal a bhualadh go ndruidfear an Spórtlann don phobal. Toisc coinneáil siar maoinithe de chuid na Comhairle Cathrach, ní raibh Coláiste Feirste ag dul a bheith in ann seirbhís folláine a sholáthar don phobal áitiúil.

Céim eile chun tosaigh don Ghaeilge i mBéal Feirste é an comórtas tar éis polasaí a ritheadh a fhreatalóidh ar chomharthaíocht sráide dhátheangach sa Cheathrú Ghaeltachta, agus seoladh Scoil an Seolta, Gaelscoil imeasctha nua in oirthear na cathrach a osclóidh a doirse san fhómhar.

Beidh Comórtas Peile Sacair na Gaeltachta ar siúl roimhe sin, áfach, ar an 31 Lúnasa. Ní gá ach suim a léiriú trí theagmháil a dhéanamh le Forbairt Feirste agus seans go mbeidh d’fhoireann féin ar an chéad bhuaiteoir ag Comórtas Peile Sacair na Gaeltachta.
