Fuirseoirí ainmnithe mar Ambasadóirí Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2025

Triúir fuirseoirí atá roghnaithe mar Ambasadóirí Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2025.

D’fhógair Conradh na Gaeilge inné gurb iad Julie Jay, Michael Fry agus Shane Daniel Byrne atá roghnaithe d’fhéile na bliana seo, a reáchtálfar ó 1-17 Márta.

Tá cáil ar Michael Fry as físeáin a chruthú do na meáin shóisialta ach is fuirseoir agus aisteoir é chomh maith. Ghlac sé páirt roimhe seo sa bhfeachtas ‘Creidim Ionat’ agus sceitse déanta ar líne aige i nGaeilge.

Is fuirseoir agus scríbhneoir a mbíonn colún seachtainiúil aici san Irish Examiner í Julie Jay agus fuirseoir, scríbhneoir agus aisteoir é Shane Daniel Byrne, a bhfuil seónna grinn déanta aige amhail But he’s Gay agus Trouble Denim.

Is é ‘Funny focail’ téama Sheachtain na Gaeilge i mbliana agus deir Conradh na Gaeilge go bhfuiltear ag súil go rachaidh daoine i dtaithí ar an nGaeilge “trí ghreann agus cruthaitheacht”.

“Le féile 2025 ag teannadh linn cuireann sé gliondar orm ambasadóirí na féile 2025 a fhógairt. Cuirfidh siad triúr go mór leis an bhféile i mbliana agus sinn ag súil go meallfaidh siad daoine fud fad na tíre le bheith páirteach san fhéile,” a dúirt Conchubhair Mac Lochlainn, Cathaoirleach Sheachtain na Gaeilge, ag an seoladh inniu.

Tá urraíocht á déanamh ag Energia ar an bhféile arís i mbliana agus maoiniú á chur ar fáil freisin ag Foras na Gaeilge agus an Roinn Turasóireachta, Cultúir, Ealaíon, Gaeltachta, Spóirt agus Meán.
