Comórtas Crann Beo na Gaeilge

Comórtas Crann Beo na Gaeilge

    Comórtas Crann Beo na Gaeilge

    Competition

Is mian le Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann ceiliúradh a dhéanamh ar an nGaeilge mar fhoinse scoláireachta agus mar theanga bhisiúil reatha leis na céadta bliain. Ó bunaíodh an tAcadamh i 1785, is cuid luachmhar an Ghaeilge dá oidhreacht shaibhir chultúrtha. Chuige sin, tugann lucht stiúrtha an Acadaimh cuireadh d’fhilí dán Gaeilge a bhfuil idir 20-30 líne ann a chur isteach ar chomórtas úr, ‘Crann beo na Gaeilge’. Is í an inbhuanaitheacht sa chiall is leithne téama an dáin a roghnófar. Ba cheart go léireodh an dán leanúnachas, doimhneacht agus áilleacht thraidisiún fileata na Gaeilge inár linn féin. Taispeánfar an dán a ghnothóidh go poiblí in Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann mar chuid de thríréad, arb iad sliocht as ‘Fáilte don Éan’ le Séamas Dall Mac Cuarta agus sliocht fileata as ‘Buile Shuibhne’ an péire eile, dhá shaothar a bhfuil cóipeanna díobh i dtaisce lámhscríbhinní an Acadaimh.

Tá lánchead ag file nó filí níos mór ná dán amháin a chur isteach ar an gcomórtas, cé nach roghnófar ach dán amháin sa deireadh thiar.

    Beidh duais €1500 le fáil.

Cuirfear fáilte roimh iarratais faoi 1 Aibreán 2025. Seoltar iad i bhfoirm leictreonach chuig crannbeo@ria.ie le ‘Crann beo na Gaeilge’ mar theideal.
