A packed hall at the Irish centre heard Italian linguist Josephine Siriu clear up some of the mysteries surrounding the language and its spelling system.
Now based in Hilltown, Dr Siriu, has a phd on the sounds of Irish and how they are made.
The course had sold out almost immediately leading to another session being organised for 7 December, full details on how to book a place can be found on the ‘Atomic Irish’ Facebook page.
Pre-booking is essential.
The course aims to clarify some of the points which can confuse learners in simple clear terms as well as helping them understand native speakers.
It is designed for post-beginners to higher intermediate learners – Josephine can explain more via email for those who might not be sure if the course is for them – email@example.com.
