Where to find them?

Conradh na Gaeilge run an Irish language bookshop at 6 Harcourt Street, open 9.30 – 17.30 Monday to Friday and 10.00 – 16.00 on Saturdays. 

Litríocht sell a wide range of Irish language books online, which you can order for delivery.

An Ceathrú Póilíis an independent Irish language book shop, situated in Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich in Belfast.  They open from 9:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, and 9:30 to 17:00 on Saturdays. 

Loveleabhargaeilge.com sells a range of Irish language books for both child and adult readers. 

An Siopa Gaeilge issituated in Gleann Cholm Cille, Donegal. It is run by Oideas Gael, who have been teaching Irish to adult learners since 1984. The shop specializes in material suitable for the Irish language learner and teacher, as well as material for children and traditional music resources. 

Gaelchultúr provide not only a range of Irish language books, but also a selection of CD’s, greetings cards, t-shirts and games. 

Festivals, events and clubs

Imramis a yearly Irish language literature festival, which was set up in 2014. It aims to promote modern Irish language books and literature through a wide range of event in Dublin city. 

Clubleabhar.comwas set up by Gaelchultúr Teo in 2004. The project encourages people inIreland and all over the world to form book clubs for Irish language books. The site promotes one book a month, and provides a platform fordiscussion and support.
