Scannán Gaeilge ‘Foscadh’ roghnaithe mar iontráil na hÉireann do na Oscars

| Dáithí Anraí |

D’fhógraigh IFTA ar na mallaibh go bhfuil, ‘Foscadh’, scannán lán-Ghaeilge ó scéim Cine4 de chuid TG4, roghnaithe mar iontráil na hÉireann do na Oscars sa chatagóir don Phríomhscannán Idirnáisiúnta is Fearr.

Labhair Meon Eile le Seán Breathnach, stiúrthóir an scannáin, agus Paddy Hayes, léiritheoir an scannáin le níos mó a fháil amach faoin scannán iontach seo.

Ba abhár bróid é do Sheán an Scannán a bheith roghnaithe mar iontráil na hÉireann ag na Oscars i ndiaidh do Arracht a bheith curtha isteach anuraidh. Rud iontach don Ghaeilge agus scannánaíocht as Gaeilge dar leis.

Tá Paddy Hayes den bharúil go bhfuil scóth na Gaeilge le breathnamh sa Scannán seo agus thaitin sé leis muintir na Gaeltachta a bheith páirteach ann.

Beidh Foscadh le feliceáil sna pictiúrlanna fud fad na tíre i mí an Mhárta 2022.
