D’fhógair Conradh na Gaeilge na hambasadóirí d’fhéile na bliana seo ag ócáid i mBaile Átha Cliath inniu

Triúr ambasadóirí Sheachtain na Gaeilge fógartha

Ambasadóirí Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2023, Maura Derrane, Manchán Magan agus Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

Tá an scríbhneoir Manchán Magan, an tionchaire ar líne Éadaoin Fitzmaurice agus and láithreoir teilifíse Maura Derrane ainmnithe mar ambasadóirí do Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2023.

Beidh an fhéile ar siúl i mbliana ón 1 Márta go dtí an 17 Márta. Tá sé i gceist imeachtaí a reáchtáil ar fud an domhain agus iad á n-eagrú ag grúpaí pobail, scoileanna, grúpaí cultúrtha agus spóirt in Éirinn agus thar sáile.

Rinneadh na hambasadóirí a fhógairt ag seoladh na féile inniu, ócáid a reáchtáladh i mBaile Átha Cliath.

Fógraíodh níos luaithe an mhí seo go raibh ciste tacaíochta ar luach €200,000 curtha ar fáil ag Roinn na Gaeltachta le ciste imeachtaí a chur ar siúl ar fud na hÉireann leis an nGaeilge a cheiliúradh mar chuid den fhéile.

Tá Seachtain na Gaeilge á reáchtáil ag Conradh na Gaeilge ó 1902 agus tacaíocht faighte arís i mbliana ó Fhoras na Gaeilge agus Energia.

Níos mó
