AR SCÁTH A CHÉILE: Féile na Gealaí na bliana seo curtha ar ceal

Tá Féile na Gealaí, féile cheoil is champála a bhí le bheith ar siúl i Ráth Chairn na Mí i lár an tsamhraidh, curtha ar ceal de bharr an choróinvíris.

D’fhógair coiste na féile inniu nach mbeidh an fhéile á reáchtáil i mbliana ar mhaithe le sábháilteacht phobal Ráth Chairn agus lucht freastail na féile.

“Is doiligh a mheas cá huair a bheas tréimhse na haimsire seo tharainn, ach ní shíleann muid gur cheart dúinn a ghabháil sa seans le sláinte Phobal Ráth Chairn ná Sláinte lucht freastail na féile,” a dúradh i ráiteas a scaipeadh ar na meáin shóisialta.

Ghabh coiste na féile buíochas le gach duine a cheannaigh ticéad go dtí seo agus dúirt go mbeidh aisíocaíochtaí á ndéanamh “sna laethanta amach romhainn”.

Dúradh chomh maith go mbeadh “oíche mhór cheoil” á reáchtáil in Áras Pobail Ráth Chairn ar an 19 Meán Fómhair toisc gan aon fhéile a bheith ar siúl i mbliana.

Fógraíodh dáta d’Fhéile na Gealaí 2021, a bheas ar siúl deireadh seachtaine an 11-13 Meitheamh 2021.
