    Is ceoltóir íontach suimúil í Máire McCarthy. Thagann sí le chéile le mic-léinn de gach aois agus ceoltóirí darb aithne leí gach bliain ag ám na Féile Pádraig chun ceol traidisiúnta a sheinm ar pianó. Bigí leo chun trathnóna lán cheol agus cháirdeas. Beidh seanchas speisialta acu faoi beirt mná ar dá thaobh Sruth na Maoile a chruinnigh amhráin as Gaeilge agus sa Ghàidhlig. Siad Margaret Fay Shaw agus Bean Uí Choisdealbha, a bhí chomh tábhachtach don bhéaloideas tráth san fhichiú aois.

    Tá Máire agus a méarchláir gnóthach in Albain fad blianta anuas ag caidhdeán árd, le mic-léinn sa Chonservatoire chomh maith le páistí de gach aois ag foghlaim lei. I rith linn Covid, thoisigh sí le Zoom-Céilí  chun an pobal a chumail le chéile. Anois thagann ceoltóirí isteach ar líne as gach ceantar den domhain! Beidh fáilte romhaibh go léir ag an Trathnóna Trad!
