Cúl Trá-il: A guided language tour of the Ulster Folk Museum

    @ Ulster Folk Museum

    Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia

Join us for a special, bilingual guided tour at Ulster Folk Museum, as part of our new Languages of Ulster project. This unique guided tour, taken by Donal McAnallen, follows our new ‘Cúl Trá-il’ and explores the story of the Irish language through the places and people of the Ulster Folk Museum.

This guided trail uses the living museum’s heritage setting to show the links between language, buildings, people and places. Languages of Ulster demonstrates how language belongs to everyone and challenges the assumptions that can be made around our local languages, dialects and speakers.
