    Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia  

    Reáchtálfar an chéad fhéile sean-nóis ariamh ag GaelphobalArd-Mhacha Theas i mbliana ar líne mar chuid de cheiliúradhSheachtain na Gaeilge 2021.  Beidh sraith fhiseáin á fhoilsiúidir 8-14 Márta le cuid dena hamhránaithe sean-nóis is iomráití dá bhfuil ann ag glacadh páirte sa tógra.  Beidh deisag ár bpobal féin in Ard Mhacha Theas agus an mórphobalníos leithne in ann cluas na héisteachta a thabhairt do ghlórthaí binne na nGaeltachtaí ar fad in Éirinn ar ardáinmeáin shoisialta de chuid Gaelphobal Ard Mhacha Theas.  Beidh deis ag an phobal éisteachta na hamhráin a fhoghlaim, cúlra na n-amhránaithe féin a chluinstin agus cúlra na n-amhrán féin a fhoghlaim.  Beidh amhrán nua le cloisteáil ó cheoltóir nua achan oíche ar a 7pm le linn na seachtaine seo.  Tá muid ag súil go mbeidh Gaeil na cruinne inár gcuideachtale Seachtain na Gaeilge 2021 a chéiliúradh linn.

     

    Gaelphobal Ard Mhacha Theas will host its inaugural sean-nós festival online this year as part of the Seachtain naGaeilge 2021 celebrations.  A series of videos will be broadcast between 8-14 March featuring some of our most celebrated and recognised sean-nós singers.  Gael’s from south Armagh and the greater community will be given the opportunity to listen to some of the most outstanding voices representing all of the Gaeltacht communities in Ireland on Gaelphobal Ard Mhacha Theas’ social platforms.  We’ll offer the audience an opportunity to learn the song lyrics, find out about the singers themselves and also gain an understanding of the songs’ origins.  A new song from a new singer will feature every night at 7pm during the week. We hope that Gael’s throughout the world will join us in celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge 2021.
