Bainisteoir nua ceaptha ar thionscadal foclóireachta Fhoras na Gaeilge

| Tuairisc.ie |

Tá Bainisteoir nua ceaptha ar thionscadal foclóireachta Fhoras na Gaeilge agus Cormac Breathnach ag teacht i gcomharbacht ar Chathal Convery a bhí ina bhainisteoir ar an saothar foclóireachta as ar tháinig an foclóir Béarla-Gaeilge nua, foclóir.ie.

Tá Cormac Breathnach ag obair ar thionscadal an Fhoclóra Nua Béarla-Gaeilge le breis is cúig bliana anuas, tréimhse ina raibh sé ag plé le hobair eagarthóireachta, le cúrsaí margaíochta agus le cúrsaí bainistíochta agus riaracháin.

Is é a bheidh freagrach feasta, i gcomhar leis bPríomh-Eagarthóir Pádraig Ó Mianáin, as stiúradh cheann de na tograí Gaeilge is uaillmhianaí agus is tábhachtaí dá raibh ann le fada.

Ag labhairt dó le Tuairisc.ie, dúirt Cormac Breathnach, arb as contae Cheatharlach dó ó dhúchas, go raibh sé ag súil leis “an deis bheith ag bainistiú an tionscadail don dá bhliain amach romhainn”.

Tréimhse chinniúnach a bheidh ansin don tionscadal mar go bhfuil beartaithe leagan clóite den fhoclóir Béarla-Gaeilge a fhoilsiú.

Chomh maith leis sin, leanfar leis an obair ar an bhfoclóir Gaeilge-Béarla nua atá beartaithe ag Foras na Gaeilge.

Déantar uasdátú go leanúnach freisin ar foclóir.ie.

Bhí Cathal Convery ina Bhainisteoir Tionscadail ar an obair fhoclóireachta le breis is deich mbliana agus baint mhór aige le teacht ar an saol foclóir.ie agus lena fhorbairt ó shin.

Tuigtear go bhfuil aghaidh á tabhairt anois aige ar earnáil an ghnó.
