Glór míle Gaeilgeoir á lorg le cabhrú le forbairtí teicneolaíochta

| Tuairisc.ie |

Tá feachtas nua seolta a bhfuil sé mar aidhm aige taifeadadh a dhéanamh ar 1,000 duine éagsúil ag labhairt i nGaeilge chun cabhrú le forbairtí teicneolaíochta, ina measc seirbhísí aitheanta cainte amhail Alexa nó Siri.

Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta Seán Kyne a sheol an feachtas nua ‘Míle Glór’ ag Oireachtas na Samhna i mBaile Átha Cliath tráthnóna.

Lucht an tionscadail teicneolaíochta ABAIR.ie atá i mbun an fheachtais ‘Míle Glór’ agus cainteoirí Gaeilge aoisghrúpaí éagsúla agus le canúintí éagsúla á lorg acu.

Dúirt an tAire Stáit Kyne gur “chúis mhór bhróid” dó

go bhfuil an Roinn Cultúir, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta ag tacú leis an “obair thábhachtach” atá ar bun ag lucht Abair.ie.

“Le cabhair an phobail ar fad is féidir linn a chinntiú go mbeidh an Ghaeilge i lár an aonaigh chomh fada is a bhaineann sé leis an saol digiteach,” a dúirt Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta.

Tá cuireadh á thabhairt ag lucht an fheachtais don phobal páirt a ghlacadh i Míle Glór.

Beidh seastán ag ABAIR ag Aonach an Oireachtais agus déanfaidh foireann ABAIR taifeadadh 15 nóiméad ar dhaoine atá sásta a bheith páirteach sa togra.

Ba mhór acu dá ndéanfadh daoine iad féin a thaifeadadh sa bhaile chomh maith trí chuairt a thabhairt ar www.abair.tcd.ie/mileglor.
