Lá na Cruite 2019

| Dáithí Anraí |

Tá an chruit mar shuaitheantas náisiúnta na hÉireann agus, le blianta beaga anuas, tá obair mhór déanta ag Cruit Éireann chun aird na tíre a tharraingt ar an uirlis ársa cheoil seo.

Den tríú bliain as a chéile, eagraíodh Lá na Cruite le ceiliúradh a dhéanamh ar thábhacht na hurlise in oidhreacht na hÉireann. Le cuidiú ó Chruit Éireann, bíonn imeachtaí ar siúl fud fad na tíre agus níos faide i gcéin ina mbailíonn cruitirí le chéile chun ranganna, ceolchoirmeacha agus ceardlanna a bheith acu.

Ag bun Shliabh Charn Tóchair i ndeisceart Dhoire, tá ról ar leith ag an chruit sa phobal agus is léir go bhfuil méid na gcláirseoirí ag méadú achan bhliain sa cheantar.

Bhí na cruitirí aitheanta, Lauren O’Neill agus Gráinne Meyer, i mbun ceardlainne ar Lá na Cruite in An Coire, ionad cultúrtha Charn Tóchair, agus an sprioc a bhí acu ná rud éigin difriúil a dhéanamh nach raibh dírithe ar cheol traidisiúnta amháin.

Cuireadh béim ar phopcheol chun an dream óg a mhealladh i dtreo na cruite agus thuirling na sluaite ar an ionad le bheith páirteach sa cheardlann iontach.

Tá tuilleadh eolais faoi Lá na Cruite le fáil anseo.
