Breis agus €350,000 ceadaithe do dhá naíonra nua sa Ghaeltacht

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá os cionn €350,000 ceadaithe ag Roinn na Gaeltachta do naíonraí Gaeltachta i Maigh Eo agus i nDún nGall.

D’fhógair Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta, Seán Kyne, go raibh an maoiniú curtha ar fáil chun foirgneamh nua a thógáil do naíonra ar an Eachléim i Maigh Eo agus chun naíonra nua a thógáil i nGleann Domhain, Mín an Lábáin, i nDún na nGall.

Deontas €184,000 atá ceadaithe do Naíonra Ghleann Domhain le foirgneamh buan a thógáil ar an láthair chéanna leis an mbunscoil sa cheantar.

Níl aon naíonra i nGleann Domhain faoi láthair.

Deontas €169,000 atá ceadaithe do Naíonra na hEachléime chun foirgneamh buan a thógáil. Is as foirgneamh réamhdhéanta ar an láthair chéanna leis an mbunscoil sa cheantar atá an naíonra ag feidhmiú ó 2012 agus tá ráite ag an Roinn nach bhfuil sé sásúil ná oiriúnach mar naíonra de réir chaighdeáin an lae inniu.

Dúirt an Seanadóir Kyne go n-aithnítear go bhfuil ról “ríthábhachtach” ag naíonraí ó thaobh cur le Gaeilge na bpáistí agus go raibh sé dóchasach go mbeadh na deontais seo “ina gcuidiú do na heagraíochtaí agus páirt ghníomhach á glacadh acu sa phróiseas pleanála teanga”.

“Cuirfidh na deontais seo borradh faoi thionscal na tógála sna ceantair seo ag am a bhfuil an tionscal sin ag oscailt suas arís tar éis srianta COVID-19 a bheith ardaithe. Ina theannta sin, tá conraitheoirí roghnaithe agus ag fanacht le tús a chur leis an obair seo,” a dúirt an tAire Stáit.

D’fhógair Seán Kyne níos luaithe inniu go bhfuil os cionn €820,000 ceadaithe ag an Rialtas d’ionad Gaeilge nua i gCnoc na Cathrach i nGaillimh.
