‘Gaeilge Mhaigh Cuilinn’ ag tacú leis an cheantar

| 1 |

Labhair Ándrea Tighe, Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga Mhaigh Cuilinn, le Meon Eile faoin obair atá á déanamh acu ar son na Gaeilge agus mhuintir na Gaeltachta ina ceantar i gContae na Gaillimhe. Luaigh sí gur thosaigh sí an grúpa leis an phobal a spreagadh chun a gcuid Gaeilge a úsáid.

Bíonn Ándrea i gcónaí ag smaoineamh faoi dhóigheanna le cuidiú le Maigh Cuilinn agus, le déanaí, thosaigh sí an feachtas ‘Ceannaigh sa Cheantar’ le tacú le gnónna sa bhaile. Dúirt Ándrea gur tháinig an feachtas seo go mór chun cinn le linn na pandéime agus gur bealach maith é leis an pobal a thabhairt le chéile.

Tá sé de dhualgas uirthi an plean teanga áitiúil a chur i bhfeidhm agus ta seo á dhéanamh ag Gaeilge Mhaigh Cuilinn trí bheith ag freastal ar gach aoisghrúpa tríd an spórt, teicneolaícht, saibhreas teanga srl. Is cinnte go bhfuil tionchar mór ag an phandéim ar gach gnó agus pobal fud fad an tír ach is tógáil croí é go bhfuil daoine ag teacht le chéile le tacaíocht a thabhairt dá gcomharsana.

Tá sonraí chuntais meán sóisialta Gaeilge Mhaigh Cuilinn anseo le go mbeidh tú ábalta na himeachtaí ar fad atá acu a leanúint:
