An chéad naíscoil lán-Ghaeilge le bunú in oirthear Bhéal Feirste

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Osclófar an chéad scoil lán-Ghaeilge d’aon saghas in oirthear Bhéal Feirste an fómhar seo agus é fógartha go bhfuil maoiniú ceadaithe do Naíscoil na Seolta.

Osclófar Naíscoil na Seolta Meán Fómhair seo chugainn agus táthar ag súil go mbeidh soláthar naíscoile inti do 16 páiste in oirthear na cathrach.

Fógraíodh go bhfuil £73,000 curtha ar fáil ag Foras na Gaeilge don naíscoil nua ina mbeidh beirt fostaithe.

Tá suíomh na naíscoile fós le fógairt ach táthar ag súil go ndéanfar sin gan mhoill.

Dúirt lucht na naíscoile go bhfuil “lúcháir” orthu go bhfuil an maoiniú seo ceadaithe.

“Táimid ar bís gur aithin Foras na Gaeilge dea-obair choiste Naíscoil na Seolta, ag fíorú ár bhfíse an gaeloideachas a chur ar bun in oirthear Bhéal Feirste,” arsa an Dr Annelies Taylor, Cathaoirleach na naíscoile.

“Bedh deis ag páistí agus a dtuismitheoirí foghlaim le chéile is fás le chéile ar bhealach aontaithe – céim ar chéim, focal ar fhocal, lámh ar láimh.”

Ghabh an coiste buíochas le Linda Ervine agus an eagraíocht Turas as an gcúnamh atá tugtha acu leis an nGaeilge a chur chun cinn in oirthear Bhéal Feirste.

Deir lucht na naíscoile go bhfuiltear anois ag obair i dtreo Gaelscoil imeasctha a bhunú in oirthear na cathrach.

Féadfaidh aon tuismitheoir a bhfuil spéis acu sa naíscoil foirm léirithe spéise a líonadh ar shuíomh idirlín na naíscoile.
