Gradam bronnta ag an gCrannchur Náisiúnta ar ghrúpa pobail i mBaile Átha Cliath

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá gradam speisialta bronnta ag an gCrannchur Náisiúnta ar ghrúpa pobail atá ag cur na Gaeilge chun cinn in iardheisceart Bhaile Átha Cliath.

Bronnadh Gradam na Gaeilge ag Duaiseanna an Chrannchuir Náisiúnta do Dhea-Chúiseanna ar Ghaelphobal Thamhlachta. Tabharfar €10,000 don eagraíocht chun tacú leis an obair a bhíonn ar bun acu sa cheantar.

D’oscail Gaelphobal Thamhlachta Café Aon Scéal i gcroílár an bhaile ag deireadh 2019 chun go mbeadh áit ag daoine an Ghaeilge a labhairt.

Dúirt moltóirí ón Chrannchur Náisiúnta go raibh an caifé, atá lonnaithe san ionad Gaeilge agus cultúrtha atá forbartha i dTamhlacht, tar éis cur go mór leis an tsuim atá sa teanga sa cheantar.

Agus é ag glacadh leis an ngradam, dúirt Pól Ó Meadhra ó Ghaelphobal Thamhlachta go raibh “go leor dul chun cinn ó thaobh na Gaeilge de déanta i dTamhlacht le tamall anuas. Tá pobal fíor-fíorláidir ann ó thaobh na Gaeilge de”.

Thréaslaigh Andrew Algeo, Príomhfheidhmeannach an Chrannchuir Náisiúnta, le foireann uile Ghaelphobal Thamhlachta agus leis na buaiteoirí eile a thug leo gradaim i mbliana.

“Bliain chrua a bhí ann do bhailte agus do shráidbhailte ar fud na hÉireann ach tá gaisce ar leith déanta ag na heagraíochtaí seo dóibh siúd atá timpeall orthu.”
