Plean Teanga Thrá Lí ceadaithe agus maoiniú fógartha do Chorca Dhuibhne

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá €1.27 milliún fógartha ag Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta Jack Chambers do chur chun cinn na Gaeilge i gCiarraí.

Agus é ar cuairt ar Áras Bhréanainn i mBaile an Fheirtéaraigh inniu. d’fhógair an tAire Stáit go raibh maoiniú bliantúil Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne ceadaithe arís aige – €713,904 san iomlán as seo go ceann trí bliana.

D’fhógair sé chomh maith €560,000 do chur i bhfeidhm Phlean Teanga Thrá Lí faoin bpróiseas pleanála teanga. Is ionann sin agus €80,000 gach bliain do sheacht mbliana an phlean.

Tugadh le fios go raibh faoi Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne dhá chlár nua a fhorbairt – Clár Píolótach Éiceolaíochta don Aos Óg agus Clár faoi leith chun teaghlaigh an cheantair a mhealladh lóistín a chur ar fáil do lucht freastail choláistí Gaeilge an cheantair.

Dúirt an tAire Stáit Chambers go raibh go dtacódh an maoiniú leis an bpróiseas pleanála teanga agus an polasaí don oideachas Gaeltachta.

Agus é ar cuairt ar Ghaelcholáiste Thrá Lí, d’fhógair an tAire Stáit go bhfuil plean teanga Bhaile Seirbhíse Gaeltachta Thrá Lí ceadaithe.

Beidh an plean faoi stiúir Bhord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Chiarraí.

Ghabh an tAire Stáit buíochas le Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Chiarraí as a gcuid oibre.

“Ach an oiread leis na pleananna teanga ar fad atá ceadaithe agus á bhfeidhmiú cheana féin, tá deiseanna á dtabhairt sa chás seo do phobal Thrá Lí a bheith lárnach i roghnú a gcuid tosaíochtaí teanga féin faoin bplean agus a bheith páirteach ina chur i bhfeidhm ar bhonn comhpháirtíochta.

“Is ar leas na Gaeilge go háitiúil atá an plean agus an iarracht seo ar fad.”
