Ionad Uíbh Eachach ag ceiliúradh 30 bliain leis an fhéile Léargas

An fhéile ‘Léargas’ agus ceiliúradh 30 bliain ar bhunú Ionad Uíbh Eachach

| Dáithí Anraí |

Rinne Ionad Uíbh Eachach ceiliúradh ar 30 bliain a bhunaithe an tseachtain seo caite leis an fhéile Léargas. Labhair Meon Eile le muintir an ionaid faoi stair an ghrúpa agus faoin fhéile féin.

Bunaíodh an grúpa sa bhliain 1990 agus bhí sé beartaithe an fhéile cheiliúrtha a reáchtáil in 2020 ach mar gheall ar an phandéim Covid-19, cuireadh ar athlá í go dtí i mbliana.

Bhí neart imeachtaí ar siúl le linn na seachtaine: dianchúrsa seachtaine, seisiún ceoil, taispeántas ealaíne agus béile ceiliúrtha ina measc.

Labhair Sinéad Mc Connell, Príomhoifigeach Feidhmiúcháin an Ionaid, agus Brian Mac an tSionnaigh, Oifigeach Forbartha Gaeilge an Ionaid, faoin tábhacht a bhaineann le ceiliúradh a dhéanamh ar dhul chun cinn an ionaid le 30 bliain anuas.

Bhí Ionad Uíbh Eachach ar bís le fáilte a chur roimh an phobal ar ais san fhoirgneamh agus ba bhealach iontach í an fhéile chun seo a dhéanamh.
