Tá maoiniú breise os cionn €100,000 sa bhliain fógartha ag Airí na Gaeltachta chun tacú le múineadh na Gaeilge i scoileanna Gaeltachta ar fud na tíre.

Fógraíodh go mbeidh thart ar €115,000 breise in aghaidh na bliana á chaitheamh ar Scéim na gCúntóirí Teanga agus pá na gcúntóirí atá fostaithe fud fad na Gaeltachta le hardú.

Breis is €4 milliún ar fad atá ceadaithe don scéim don chéad trí bliana eile agus tacaíocht á cur ar fáil do 134 scoil Ghaeltachta – 105 bunscoil, 28 iar-bhunscoil agus scoil speisialta amháin. Tabharfar ardú pá do 113 cúntóir teanga.
