Bean as Conamara ceaptha ina Bainisteoir Cumarsáide ag TG4

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá an t-iriseoir Áine Lally le ceapadh ina Bainisteoir Cumarsáide nua ag TG4.

Tá beagnach 25 bliain caite ag Lally, arb as an Spidéal ó dhúchas di, ag obair mar iriseoir agus mar chraoltóir le Nuacht TG4 agus RTÉ.

Chaith sí seal ag obair le Nationwide ar RTÉ agus chaith sí roinnt blianta mar láithreoir ar an gclár Féilte.

Is i seomra na nuachta i mBaile na hAbhann a bhí Lally den chuid is mó agus í ag plé le cúrsaí nuachta agus spóirt.

Iníon í Áine Lally leis an bhfear gnó aitheanta as Cathair na Gaillimhe Máirtín Lally agus a bhean Bríd.  Tá sí pósta ar Joe Quinn as cathair na Gaillimhe. Tá beirt ghasúr acu, Robert agus Liadh.

Chuir Stiúrthóir Margaíochta, Forbartha agus Comhpháirtíochta TG4 Lís Ní Dhálaigh fáilte roimh an gceapachán.

“Tá taithí ar leith ag Áine ar phobal na Gaeilge agus Gaeltachta agus ar iriseoireacht na Gaeilge a bheidh ina chabhair mhór di agus í ag tabhairt faoi phost an Bhainisteora Cumarsáide le TG4.”

Tiocfaidh Áine Lally i gcomharbacht ar Dheirdre Ní Choistín mar Bhainisteoir Cumarsáide leis an stáisiún.

Ceapadh Deirdre Ní Choistín le déanaí ina Ceannaire Nuachta agus Cúrsaí Reatha ag TG4, an chéad uair go mbeidh ceannasaí nuachta dá leithéid ag TG4 a fhaigheann a soláthar nuachta agus cúrsaí reatha ó RTÉ.

I mí Iúil na bliana seo ghlac an Rialtas le moladh go mbeadh soláthar nuachta TG4 neamhspleách ó RTÉ.
