Cúig leabhar ar an ngearrliosta do ghradam na Gaeilge ag na An Post Irish Book Awards

Cúig leabhar ar an ngearrliosta do ghradam na Gaeilge ag na An Post Irish Book Awards

Tá cúig shaothar ainmnithe ar an ngearrliosta do leabhar Gaeilge na bliana ag na gradaim An Post Irish Book Awards.

Is do leabhair ficsin amháin atá an gradam Gaeilge agus athrú tagtha ar an gcóras i mbliana.

Is iad na leabhair atá ar an ngearrliosta don ghradam Gaeilge, atá urraithe ag Foras na Gaeilge, ná Ceallach le Diarmuid Johnson (Leabhar Breac), Imram agus scéalta eile le Róise Ní Bhaoill (Éabhlóid), Ag Dul i bhFad le Alan Titley (Cló Iar-Chonnacht), Béal na Péiste le Fionntán de Brún (Cló Iar-Chonnacht), agus Sa Pholl Báite le Anna Heussaff (Cló Iar-Chonnacht).

Fógraíodh na hainmniúcháin don ghradam Gaeilge mar chuid d’fhógairt na ngearrliostaí ag ócáid san EXO Building i mBaile Átha Cliath anocht.

Is féidir leis an bpobal vóta a chaitheamh ar son a rogha leabhar anseo.

Fógrófar buaiteoir an ghradaim do Leabhar Ficsin Gaeilge na Bliana 2023 agus buaiteoirí na rannóg eile ag ócáid bhronnta a bheidh ar siúl in Ionad na Comhdhála i mBaile Átha Cliath ar an 22 Samhain.

Bhí éiginnteacht ann an mbeadh gradam do leabhair Ghaeilge mar chuid de na mórghradaim litríochta i mbliana.

Bhí deireadh tagtha leis an scéim de chuid Fhoras na Gaeilge faoina mbíodh an gradam Gaeilge á mhaoiniú ach dheimhnigh An Post, a dhéanann urraíocht ar na gradaim, mí Lúnasa go mbeadh gradam ar leith ann do shaothair Ghaeilge agus go mbeadh sé urraithe arís ag an bhForas.

An t-úrscéal EL le Thaddeus Ó Buachalla a bhuaigh ‘Leabhar Gaeilge na Bliana’ ag An Post Irish Book Awards anuraidh.
