‘I am Woman’ – taispeántas ealaíne in Ollscoil na Banríona

| Dáithí Anraí |

Ag tús na míosa, sheol Lise Mc Greevy a taispeántas ealaíne nua in Ollscoil na Banríona, áit a bhfuil sí lonnaithe mar ealaíontóir cónaithe.

Is taispeántas é a dhéanann iniúchadh ar an éagothroime a bhíonn roimh mhná agus léiríonn gach saothar mothúchán difriúil. D’úsáid Lise réimse ábhar agus meán éagsúil chun an ealaín a chur le chéile agus dathanna éagsúla chun na mothúcháin a chur i láthair.

Thug Meon Eile cuairt ar an taispeántas a bhí ar siúl i halla na príomhscoile dlí san Ollscoil, an chéad taispeántas ealaíne a bhí ar siúl ann. Labhair muid le Lise a dúirt “go mbraitheann gach bean éagothroime ar feadh a saoil agus tá sé tábhachtach go mbeadh an taispeántas anseo in Ollscoil na Ríona, áit ar féidir leis na mic léinn é a fheiceáil”. Labhair muid fosta le Fionnuala Nic Thom ón Droichead a bhí ar dhuine den iliomad ban ar thug Lise cuireadh dóibh an taispeántas a fheiceáil agus aiseolas a thabhairt.

Beidh an taispeántas ar na ballaí in Ollscoil na Ríona go dtí an 22 Deireadh Fómhair, áit a mbeidh fáilte roimh chách teacht agus féachaint air.

Tá tuilleadh eolais ar an taispeántas agus ar Lise McGreevy féin le fáil anseo.
