Albam nua seolta ag Fergus O’Hare

| Dáithí Anraí |

Díreoidh an tsraith nua cheoil seo ar amhránaithe agus ar cheoltóirí a bhfuil albam nua eisithe acu ar na mallaibh. Chun tús a chur leis an tsraith bhuail Meon Eile le Fergus O’Hare, gníomhaí aitheanta agus ceoltóir as Béal Feirste le labhairt faoin phróiseas a bhain leis an albam a dhéanamh agus faoi cad é a spreag é.

Chaith Fergus an chuid is mó dá shaol ina ghníomhaí pobail, polaitíochta agus teanga agus is ball tábhachtach é de phobal Gaeilge Bhéal Feirste. Ba é an chéad phríomhoide ar Choláiste Feirte, an mheánscoil Ghaeilge is mó in Éirinn, agus d’oibrigh sé ann le blianta fada. Chuidigh sé ansin le bunú Raidió Fáilte agus bhí sé ina bhainisteoir ar an stáisiún raidió go dtí cúpla bliain ó shin.

Cnuasach amhrán atá bunaithe ar an ghníomhaíochas agus ar an agóidíocht is ea a albam nua, ‘Deep in my Heart’. Tagann teideal an albaim ó líne san amhrán ‘We Shall Overcome’ a chuireann síos ar théama an albaim go foirfe, mar a dúirt Fergus.

Tá an t-albam ar fáil lena íoslódáil ó gach ardán mór agus tá an CD le fáil anseo.

Rachaidh cuid den díolachán i dtreo tacaíocht leighis don Phalaistín.
