Coláiste Mhíchíl ag cur geansaithe peile chun na hAfraice

| Dáithí Anraí |

Bheartaigh múinteoirí agus scoláirí i gColáiste Mhíchíl in Inis Ceithleann scéim charthanachta ar na mallaibh chun geansaithe peile a chur chun na hAfraice.

Is mar chuid de Sheachtain na Gaeilge agus imeachtaí an Charghas sa scoil atá an togra seo. Bhailigh an scoilphobail geansaithe ó chlubanna áitiúla nach raibh siad ag caitheamh níos mó don scéim. Tá nascanna ag an scoil le sagart atá ag obair sa Chéinia agus scaipfear na geansaithe amach i measc páistí ansin.

Thug Meon Eile cuairt ar an scoil agus iad ag déanamh réidh leis na geansaithe a chur chun na hAfraice le níos mó a fháil amach faoin togra. Labhair muid leis an mhúinteoir Gaeilge, Máirtín Ó Gormlaithe, faoin nasc idir na cluichí Gaelacha, an Ghaeilge, éiteas na scoile agus a bheith ag tabhairt cuidiú do dhaoine atá faoi mhíbhuntáiste fud fad an domhain. Labhair cuid daltaí ón scoil linn faoi na geansaithe a thug siad féin agus an tairbhe a bhaineann siad as tograí mar seo a reáchtáil.
