Ionad na Fuiseoige ar an fheirm

| Dáithí Anraí | ,

Le sé seachtaine anuas, tá scéim samhraidh den scoth ar siúl in Ionad na Fuiseoige i mBéal Feirste.

Mar chuid den scéim, chuaigh teaghlaigh ó gCill Uaidh chuig an Ark Open Farm i mBaile Nua na hArda agus bhí an t-ádh ar Meon Eile a bheith in éineacht leo. Bhí na páistí ar bís agus iad ag fáil réidh le dul isteach i mbliain úr ar Scoil na Fuiseoige agus bhí an deis acu sult a bhaint as turas thart ar an fheirm i gcomhluadar a chéile.

Rinne muid comhrá le triúr muinteoirí – Orlaigh Sloan, Sineád Ní Choinn agus Seánna Mc Cabe – chomh maith leis an tuismitheoir Catríona Nic Ardail. Labhair siad faoin tábhacht leis na páistí a bheith ag foghlaim faoi ainmhithe agus faoin mheas ba cheart a bheith againn ar an domhan thart orainn.

Agus an scéim samhraidh ag críochnú an tseachtain seo, tá súil againn go mbeidh an t-eolas a fuair na páistí ar an fheirm in úsáid acu agus iad ar ais ar scoil gan mhoill!
