Féile ‘Outburst’ 2019

| Lynn | ,

Bunaíodh an fhéile Outburst sa bhliain 2006 agus tá sé ag dul ó neart go neart le trí bliana déag anuas.

Thosaigh an fhéile le spás a thabhairt don phobal LADT+ guth s’acu a chur in iúl sa phobal mór, rud a bhí de dhíth go mór.

Tugann an fhéile seans do dhaoine LADT+ a n-obair chruthaitheach a chur ar ardán agus a roinnt le daoine eile. Bíonn ealaín, filíocht, drámaí, scannáin agus ceolchoirmeacha agus eile ar siúl ar fud Bhéal Feirste mar chuid de Outburst.

Reáchtáladh an fhéile ón 8ú lá go dtí an 16ú Deireadh Fomhair i mbliana agus fuair Meon Eile seans le cuairt a thabhairt ar an oíche filíochta ‘Queer’, a d’eagraigh Ionad Seamus Heaney sa Crescent Arts Centre.

Labhair muid le hEdel Ní Mhurchú ó Outburst féin agus le beirt fhilí, Maoiliosa Nic Éadaoin agus Mícheál McCann, faoi thábhacht na féile, ní hamháin don phobal LADT+ ach don chathair ar fad.
