Tá 25 duine eile a raibh Covid-19 orthu básaithe ó dheas.

380 duine a raibh Covid-19 orthu atá básaithe in Éirinn faoin tráth seo, 288 duine ó dheas den teorainn agus 92 duine ó thuaidh di.

Thug Príomh-Oifigeach Leighis na Roinne Sláinte an Dr Tony Holohan le fios chomh maith gur in ionaid altranais a bhí 156 den 280 duine a fuair bás de bharr an ghalair go dtí seo, nó 54% den iomlán.

8,643 cás san iomlán atá in Éirinn faoin tráth seo, 8,089 cás ó dheas agus 1,589 ó thuaidh.

480 cás nua a deimhníodh ó dheas tráthnóna.

Bhí ceist chomh maith ann tráthnóna faoi figiúirí oifigiúla na Roinne Sláínte. Thug an Lárionad Eorpach um Ghalair a Chosc agus a Rialú le fios go raibh 12% níos  cásanna ann ná mar a tugadh le fios sa phreasráiteas is déanaí ón Roinn inné,

Fógraíodh níos túisce tráthnóna go raibh deichniúr eile a bhí buailte ag an ngalar básaithe sa Tuaisceart. 112 cás nua den choróinvíreas a deimhníodh ó thuaidh níos luaithe tráthnóna.

Cuireadh tástáil don choróinvíreas ar 11,006 duine sa Tuaisceart go dtí seo agus os cionn 50,000 tástáil atá déanta ó dheas.

Tá os cionn 500 cás deimhnithe anois i mBéal Feirste, an áit is mó ina bhfuil cásanna deimhnithe den ghalar, beagnach aon trian de na cásanna ó thuaidh.
