Scrúduithe na hArdteiste curtha ar ceal agus na sonraí maidir le ‘Plean B’ fógartha

| Tuairisc.ie |

Tá scrúduithe na hArdteiste curtha ar ceal agus na sonraí maidir le ‘Plean B’ an Rialtais curtha ar fáil.

I ndiaidh don Rialtas cinneadh a dhéanamh na scrúduithe traidisiúnta a chur ar ceal, fógraíodh go mbeadh rogha ag daltaí glacadh le torthaí réamh-mheasta nó scrúduithe a dhéanamh amach anseo. D’fhéadfadh go mbeadh deis ann na scrúduithe a dhéanamh i mí na Samhna.

Beidh ceithre chéim sa chóras nua measúnaithe a thiocfaidh isteach in áit na hArdteiste traidisiúnta i mbliana.

Déanfaidh na múinteoirí a gcuid daltaí a rangú in ord fiúntais agus tabharfaidh siad céatadán measúnaithe do gach dalta.

Ina dhiaidh sin rachaidh múinteoirí i gcomhairle lena chéile chun bailchríoch a chur ar na marcanna agus ar an ord fiúntais.

Déanfaidh an príomhoide athbhreithniú ansin ar na marcanna agus ceadóidh sé iad nó rachaidh sé nó sí i gcomhairle leis na múinteoirí arís.

Ar deireadh déanfar na torthaí go léir a iniúchadh lena chinntiú go bhfuil siad i gcomhréir leis an gcaighdeán náisiúnta. Aonad nua sa Roinn Oideachais a dhéanfaidh an obair sin.

Dúirt an tAire Oideachais Joe McHugh go raibh gach iarracht déanta aige a chinntiú go mbeadh na scrúduithe i mbliana ann ach go raibh fianaise shoiléir faighte aige ó lucht leighis agus daoine eile nach bhféadfaí dul ar aghaidh leo ar bhealach a thabharfadh cothrom na Féinne do gach scoláire.

Dúirt McHugh go raibh ceisteanna coigilteacha dlí ag baint leis an gcinneadh na scrúduithe a chur ar ceal ach nach mbeadh sé sábháilte do dhaltaí iad a dhéanamh.
