Na scoileanna ar fad le hathoscailt go hiomlán an mhí seo chugainn – An Taoiseach

| Tuairisc.ie |

Dúirt an Taoiseach go bhfoilseofar plean Rialtais Dé Luain ionas go mbeidh scoileanna ar fad na tíre in ann athoscailt an mhí seo chugainn.

Leagfar amach sa bplean na bearta agus na hacmhainní a bheidh ar fáil chun go mbeidh na scoileanna ar fad sa tír ábalta athoscailt, a dúirt an Taoiseach.

“An cuspóir atá againn na scoileanna ar fad a bheith ar oscailt agus gach duine a choinneáil slán sábháilte,” a dúirt Micheál Máirtín.

Bhí an tAire Oideachais Norma Foley ar aon fhocal leis agus dúirt sí gur “oscailt iomlán na scoileanna’ an cuspóir atá ag an Roinn.

Dúirt an tAire gurb é a bhí uaithi go mbeadh “gach dalta ar an gcampas agus gach múinteoir ar an gcampas”. Ghlac sí leis go mbeadh “cásanna eisceachtúla” ann agus go ndéanfaí “freastal” orthusan.

Cuirfear an plean seo do na scoileanna faoi bhráid an Rialtais Dé Luain agus dúirt an Taoiseach go mbeadh an plean láidir go leor lena chinntiú go mbeadh scoileanna ábalta fanacht ar oscailt ach a n-osclóidís.

Bheadh bearta sonraithe sa bplean lena chinntiú go ndéanfaí cúram do shláinte na bpáistí nach raibh ar aon scoil ó mhí Márta. Gheall an Taoiseach go mbeadh bearta speisialta sa bplean le freastal ar dhaltaí a bhfuil riachtanais bhreise acu agus le cúram a dhéanamh do dhaltaí agus oidí a bhfuil imdhíonacht lagaithe acu.

An 12 Márta a dúnadh na scoileanna sa stát de bharr an choróinvíris.
