Oireachtas na Samhna 2020: an chéad fhéile fhíorúil

| 1 | ,

Agus Oireachtas na Samhna curtha ar ceal i mbliana, labhair muid le roinnt daoine faoi na rudaí is ansa leo faoin fhéile is Gaelaí sa tír. Roinn Róisín Ní Mhaoláin, Leah Ní Mhurchú agus Cian Griffin a gcuid smaointe linn faoi thábhacht an Oireachtais ina saol féin agus faoi thionchar na pandéime ar chúrsaí Gaeilge.

Níl aon amhras ach go bhfuil Oireachtas na Samhna mar bhuaicphointe fhéilire na nGael gach bliain agus tugann sé deis iontach do Ghaeil idir óg agus aosta ó achan chearn den tír bualadh lena chéile agus ceiliúradh a dhéanamh.

Bhíothas ag súil le 10,000 duine a bheith i láthair i nGaillimh i mbliana don fhéile. Dar ndóigh ceapadh Cathair na Gaillimhe mar Phríomhchathair Chultúir na hEorpa 2020 agus bhí bliain iontach d’imeachtaí beartaithe ag lucht na cathrach, imeachtaí an Oireachtais san áireamh.

Cuireadh na pleananna sin ar ceal ach tá féile fhíorúil ar siúl faoi láthair ina mbeidh scoth na n-imeachtaí ar fáil ar líne gach lá le linn na seachtaine seo. Is féidir sceideal na féile a fheiceáil anseo.

Is mór an trua nach mbeidh deis againn ceiliúradh ceart a dhéanamh ar cheol, ar chultúr ná ar chairdeas na nGael i mbliana ach tá foireann Meon Eile ag súil go mór le hOireachtas na Samhna 2021 cheana féin!
