    Story | Scéal:

Is eagraíocht óige lán Ghaeilge é Cumann na bhFiann, ag cur deiseanna ar fáil do dhaoine óga an Ghaeilge a úsáid ar bhonn sóisialta taobh amuigh den scoil. Cumann na bhFiann is an Irish language youth organisation providing opportunities for young people to use the Irish language in their daily lives.

I mbliana bheartaigh an eagraíocht airgead a thiomsú do Alone trí amhrán clúiteach nollaigiúil a chanadh as Gaeilge. Tá Cumann na bhFiann ag tarraingt daoine óga le chéile ó gach contae sa tír le canadh ar son Alone. Tá súil againn, trí amhrán a chanadh, go mbeidh ardú feasachta i measc daoine óga faoin obair iontach atá ar siúl ag Alone do dhaoine anonn san aois. This year we chose to raise funds for Alone by singing a well known Christmas song ‘as Gaeilge’. Cumann na bhFiann are bringing young people together from all over the country, to sing in support of Alone. We hope, through song, that this will raise awareness among younger people of the fantastic work carried out by Alone for older people.

Bhí an-áthas orainn leis an méid daoine óga ó eagraíochtaí óige, Scoileanna, Gaelscoileanna agus Clubanna Óige a d’fhreagair an glaoch go fonnmhar le bheith páirteach linn. We were delighted with the response from young people from Irish language Youth Organisations, Schools and Gaelscoileanna, Youth Clubs and more, who signed up enthusiastically to be part of this effort

    Míle buíochas,

    Cumann na bhFiann
