Plean geallta chun úsáid na Gaeilge sa Dáil agus sa Seanad a spreagadh

| Tuairisc.ie | ,

Tá geallta ag Tithe an Oireachtais go bhfuil obair ar bun chun cur leis an méid Gaeilge a úsáidtear sa Dáil agus sa Seanad.

Sheol Seirbhísí Thithe an Oireachtais Straitéis na Gaeilge, 2021 an tseachtain seo agus é mar aidhm léi é a dhéanamh níos éasca do chomhaltaí agus don phobal an Ghaeilge a úsáid agus iad ag déanamh a ngnó go laethúil.

“Cuirfidh an tSeirbhís tacaíocht ar fáil chun go mbainfear úsáid níos mó as an nGaeilge sa dá Theach trí thacaí a sholáthar do Theachtaí Dála agus do Sheanadóirí, agus oibreoimid chun cur de réir a chéile leis an méid Gaeilge a labhraítear sa dá Theach,” a deirtear sa straitéis nua.

Bunófar Grúpa Stiúrtha Dála agus Grúpa Stiúrtha Seanaid chun faireachán a dhéanamh ar an gcuspóir sin.

Léirigh anailís Tuairisc.ie in 2018 nach raibh ach 0.5% de dhíospóireachtaí Dháil Éireann i nGaeilge.

Deirtear sa straitéis nua go gcuirfear leis an “raon tacaí agus acmhainní a chuirtear ar fáil” dóibh siúd atá ag iarraidh an Ghaeilge a úsáid nó a gcumas teanga a fheabhsú.

Tá sé i gceist ag Seirbhísí Thithe an Oireachtais sraith imeachtaí Gaeilge a fhorbairt ar líne agus ar an láthair. Orthu sin beidh comóradh ar Cholm Cille agus imeachtaí de chuid ‘Deich mBliana na gComórthaí’.
