Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia Arts and Entertainment

Faigh amach faoi Amharclann Naisiúnta na hEireann an athuair.

Leannan an turas oibriú inmheánach an amharclann, ár stair uathúil is árbailiúchán portráidí – cuirimid beocht sna scéaltaí ó Amharclann na Mainistreach. Bí linn ar an ardán chun ár léiriú is deanaí Portia Coughlan le Marina Carr a fheiceáil, ar chúl an stáitse.

Maireann an turas thart ar 60 noiméad, ag tosnú sa forhalla in Amharclann na Mainistreach. Mar gheall ar riachtanais an léiriú, níl cead isteach in áiteanna áirithe le linn turais cúlstáitse. Tá cúpla leibhéal agus céimeanna le linn an turas cúlstáitse. Má tá aon deacraíochtaí gluaiseachta ag éinne ag iarraidh áirithint a dhéanamh, déan teagmháil linn agus deanfaidh ár bhfoireann a dhícheall freastal ar aon iarratas.

To celebrate Irish language and culture during Seachtain na Gaeilge, join us for a special version of our backstage tour – delivered in Irish and for free!

Explore the workings of the theatre, our unique history and our collection of artworks, as we bring the story and the heart of the Abbey to life. Step on to the Abbey stage for a behind-the-scenes look at our current production of Marina Carr’s Portia Coughlan.

The tour will last for approximately 60 minutes and start from the Abbey foyer. Please note that due to particular production requirements, certain areas may not be available on some tours. The tour crosses multiple levels and involves stairs. Please specify if mobility is an issue when booking, and the team will do their utmost to accommodate those with reduced mobility.
