Líonra Leitir Ceanainn agus seoladh ‘Gaelphobal’

| Dáithí Anraí |

Rinneadh feachtas náisiúnta Gaelphobal a sheoladh go hoifigiúil i Leitir Ceanainn ar na mallaibh agus bhí Meon Eile ann le tuilleadh a fháil amach faoi.

Labhair Bairbre Uí Chathail, Regina Uí Chollatáin, Linda Ní Mhaolchaoráin agus Pádraig Mac Congáil faoin scéim ‘Gaelphobal’ agus an bhaint atá ag Líonra Leitir Ceanainn leis.

Sheol Cathaoirleach Fhoras na Gaeilge, Regina Uí Chollatáin, an feachtas náisiúnta agus í ag oscailt go hoifigiúil oifigí nua Líonra Leitir Ceanainn, ceann de na Gaelphobail a bhfuil aird á tarraingt orthu.

Deir preasráiteas ó Fhoras na Gaeilge:

‘Tá na pobail seo, ar a dtugtar Gaelphobail, le fáil áit ar bith ina bhfuil pobal ag gabháil do chur chun cinn na Gaeilge trí phleananna teanga a chruthú agus a chur i bhfeidhm, lena n-áirítear líonraí Gaeilge agus i mbailte seirbhíse Gaeltachta. Is é aidhm fheachtas Gaelphobal tacú le hobair na bpobal seo agus í a cheiliúradh, agus é a dhéanamh níos éasca don phobal a fháil amach faoin nGaeilge ina gceantair féin.

Tá pleananna Gaeilge á leathadh amach sna líonraí Gaeilge i gCluain Dolcáin i gContae Bhaile Átha, Inis i gContae an Chláir, Baile Locha Riach i gContae na Gaillimhe, Carn Tóchair i gContae Dhoire agus Iarthar Bhéal Feirste i gContae Aontroma, chomh maith leis na bailte seirbhíse Gaeltachta, Leitir Ceanainn i gContae Dhún na nGall, Cathair na Gaillimhe i gContae na Gaillimhe agus Trá Lí i gContae Chiarraí.’
