    Tá gliondar ar choiste Ghlór Uachtar Tire go mbeadh an Scoil Samhraidh Shéamuis Uí Néill ag tarlú an deireadh seachtaine seo 22ú - 24ú Iúil aghaidh ar aghaidh arís.

    Ba scríbneoir Gaeilge é Séamus Ó Néill agus rugadh sé i gCaisleán Uidhilín i gContae an Dúin. Bíonn féile litríochta ag Glór Uachtar Tíre gach bhliain chun ár scríbhneoir áitiúla a cheiliúradh.

    Tá cuid mhaith imeachtaí ar siúl againn i rith an fhéile; beidh Ceolchoirm na Féile le Mairéad Ní Mhaoinigh agus ceardlann ag péinteáil le uiscedhathanna le Fiona Ní Mhaoilir ag tarlú ar an Aoine 22ú Iúil. Beidh Dianchúrsa, Seó Scéalaíochta le Máire Andrews agus níos mó  ar siúl ar an Satharn. Ansin, ar an Domhnach beidh  Agallamh na Féile ann le iníonacha Shéamuis Uí Néill ag labhairt le Cathal Póirtéir.

    Glór Uachtar Tíre's committee is delighted that the Séamus O'Neill Summer School will take place in person this weekend 22nd-24th July. 

    Séamus O'Neill was an Irish language writer from Clarkhill, Castlewellan in Co.Down. Glór Uachtar Tíre runs an annual literary festival to celebrate our local author.

    We have lots of events taking place throughout the festival; the Festival Concert with Mairéad Ní Mhaoinigh and a painting with water colours workshop with Fiona Ní Mhaoilir taking place on Friday 22nd. An Intensive Irish Language Course, Story-Telling Show with Máire Andrews and much more are being held on Saturday 23rd July. Finally, the Festival Interview with Séamus Ó Néill’s daughters talking to Cathal Póirtéir will be held on Sunday 24th July.
