Lecture / Talk Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia

Ba ghrúpa stairiúil iad na chéad dhaltaí i mBunscoil Phobal Feirste 1971 agus chuir siad go mór le hathbheochan na Gaeilge ar fud an tuaiscirt ina dhiaidh sin. Cluinfidh muid ó chuid de na daltaí ó na luathbhlianta sin le cluinstin cá ndeachaigh a dturas leo, ón scoil cheannródaíoch sin ar Bhóthar Seoighe in Iarthar Bhéal Feirste.

    _

The first pupils at Bunscoil Phobal Feirste made history in 1971 and contributed to the subsequent resurgence of the Irish language across the north. We catch up with some of the pupils from those early years to hear where their journeys took them, from that pioneering school on the Shaws Road in West Belfast.
