Meánleibhéal / Intermediate le Niamh Nic Leoid

Is as Ceantar na n-Oileán, i nGaeltacht Chonamara ó dhuchas í Niamh Nic Leoid. Tháinig sí go hAlbain chun dochtúireacht sa Ghaeilge a dhéanamh ag Ollscoil Dhún Éideann. Tá tréimhsí caite aici ag múineadh na Gaeilge in Éirinn, in Albain agus sna Stáit Aontaithe agus tá sí ag obair go lánaimseartha anois le Gaelchultúr. Tá an t-ádh léi gur féidir léi a bheith ag obair ó chian mar níl mórán fonn uirthi slán a rá le hAlbain go fóill!

Amhránaíocht / Singing le déirdre ní mhathúna

Is féidir leat amhrán a chasadh!

If your fluency isn’t quite there yet for the language workshop, join déirdre ní mhathúna to learn or rediscover some favourite traditional songs including Gabhaim Molta Bríde, Sé Mo Laoch - and take part in the current social media challenge to sing Amhrán na bhFiann! There will be time for individual attention as well as group work.

déirdre ní mhathúna ran a popular weekly Gaelic song workshop, Cèilidh nan Amhrán in Edinburgh for several years pre-Covid. She believes in the power of song to enhance Irish and Scottish Gaelic language learning.
