ceist-an-ghanntanais-muinteoiri-fisice-sa-ghaeltacht-ardaithe-leis-an-aire-oideachais

Ceist an ghanntanais múinteoirí fisice sa Ghaeltacht ardaithe leis an Aire Oideachais

Tá fadhb mhór le tamall de bhlianta anuas ag scoileanna Gaeltachta agus lán-Ghaeilge teacht ar mhúinteoirí oilte a bhfuil Gaeilge líofa acu

Ceist an ghanntanais múinteoirí fisice sa Ghaeltacht ardaithe leis an Aire Oideachais

Tá ganntanas múinteoirí fisice sa Ghaeltacht pléite ag an Aire Oideachais.

Thug an tAire Oideachais le fios i bhfreagra ar cheist Dála go bhféadfadh sé go mbeadh 13 múinteoir breise atá páirteach i gclár scilbhisithe ar fáil le fisic a mhúineadh i nGaeilge.

130 múinteoir iarbhunscoile atá páirteach sa chlár scilbhisithe atá dírithe ar mhúinteoirí nach bhfuil cáilithe san ábhar ach ar mian leo fisic a theagasc.

As an 130 múinteoir, thug 13 díobh le fios gur mian leo an t-ábhar a theagasc trí mheán na Gaeilge.

An Teachta Dála de chuid Fhianna Fáil Seán Haughey a chuir an cheist ar an Aire Oideachais faoina bhfuil á dhéanamh aici chun dul i ngleic leis an ghanntanas múinteoirí fisice sa Ghaeltacht.

Mar fhreagra ar an cheist, dúirt an tAire gur bunaíodh an tionscnamh e-Hub, faoina ndéanann múinteoirí ábhar a theagasc ar líne do scoileanna éagsúla, le réiteach a fháil ar an fhadhb.

In 2019 a bunaíodh an e-Hub, atá mar chuid den Pholasaí Oideachais don Ghaeltacht.

Faoi láthair, tá an fhisic á teagasc fríd an e-Hub i naoi n-iarbhunscoil sa Ghaeltacht. Tá beirt mhúinteoirí ag múineadh na fisice ar an e-hub do 20 dalta atá ag freastal ar scoileanna Gaeltachta. Anuraidh, rinne 13 dalta Gaeltachta a thug faoin chúrsa fríd an e-Hub scrúdú fisice na hardteiste.

Tá fadhb mhór le tamall de bhlianta anuas ag scoileanna Gaeltachta agus lán-Ghaeilge teacht ar mhúinteoirí oilte a bhfuil Gaeilge líofa acu.

Is iad na hábhair is mó a mbíonn deacrachtaí ann múinteoirí oilte a bhfuil Gaeilge acu a earcú ná ábhair eolaíochta, teangacha agus eacnamaíocht bhaile.

I suirbhé a rinne Tuairisc in 2021, dúirt 22 as 28 príomhoide iarbhunscoile sa Ghaeltacht go raibh orthu múinteoirí nach raibh Gaeilge acu a earcú le hábhair áirithe a chur ar fáil ina scoil.
